I’m creepily hypnotized by myself. Don’t worry, I’m aghast by my sheer creepiness as well.

So naturally, I’m going to start with the one where I was about to keel over from a heat stroke and sporting massive camel toe.

For some reason on our ‘sightseeing’ extravaganza day, we decided it was a bright idea to walk the entire day. So we walked from Chelsea down to Chinatown to Battery Park and then back up to the 9/11 memorial then to the Rockefeller (btw. took me 4 tries to spell this correctly. Damn you Jay-Z) Center and THEN went shopping.

Being asian and female, I am a total sucker for cute collaborations. Forever 21 X Minnie? I’m so there. 

I wanted to wake up bright and early to shop today because I hate crowds but unfortunately I woke up at noon :-/. Btw, the best time to shop is from 9-11AM on Sundays because the whores don’t wake up that early and the goody two shoes are at church. 

Anyways. I ended up just grabbing half the collection and going straight to the register which STILL TOOK 30 MINUTES in line. FRACKKKKK. Here’s a couple things I bought that I’ll probably never wear. 

Case in point, this fur hat. :-/

Dear Diary,

Hello. Tonight/Today (it’s 12AM) was the Nike Human Race (fantastic organization btw and easy easy parking) and the first time I’ve ran in probably 3-6 months. I’ve been lying to myself. Yoga is not exercise. Well, at least not sporadic yoga anyways.

And anyways. how fucking far is 10K? It’s 6 freakin miles. I bet my mom can run 6 miles.

Famous last words.

Oh. Happy bunny. How naive. Little do I know the pain that awaits. And yes I know I’m wearing six different colors. Don’t judge. I don’t have a plethora of running shoes.

Yes. Sue me. I bitched out. I saw the left turn and took it. I know what you’re thinking. 5K is like 3.3 miles. Well, it was a long 3.3 miles. If it wasn’t for the little kids and grandmas still running strong, I would have quit and took a detour into a frat house.

Am I excited about doing another race? Sure. Even though it makes me disoriented and chinky eyed after.

This was my first time going to a John Legend concert and the first time I’ve been to the Greek. It is such an intimate venue and we were so close we could have got sweated on. The sound was amazing, the weather was perfect. With all the trees, you actually feel like you’re in a private greek theatre in the woods watching Shakespeare or a tiger mauling contest.

John Legend put on an AMAZING show. He has such a great voice and good stage presence not to mention he was hilarious during sound check.

I can’t wait for next summer! Hopefully I can catch Jason Mraz.
