Look at Kim K. Take about creating a “brand name” for yourself. As much as I dislike Lauren Conrad, she did the same. LC went from a reality teen show to having her own fashion line, having multiple spinoffs (!) of her show, and becoming a household name. I don’t care what you say. That’s business.

Kim K is the same way. Two years ago she was not on my radar. Given a mention or two, I didn’t really care about her. I thought she was average eh in looks, questionable fashion sense, famous off a less famous bf Ray J, and had zero sense of make up skills and style.

She took all the criticism from the public and fixed it. Two years. Fixed her image. Fixed her make up. Learned to pose. Learned flattering camera angles. She dresses more glam and not overtly sexy. Her hair is fab @ all times and she’s beginning to become an up and coming fashion icon (ok fine. Kate Bosworth or Olsen Twins she’ll never be) but the girl really came a long way. She was sitting front row @ fashion week a while ago. KIM K. Ex gf and Ex bff Kim K of Ray J and Paris Hilton.

Oh how the tides turn. Two years. Kim’s a rising star and Paris..still has herpes.

You know what you tell your kid?

Hi kid. This is a real life situation and people are reacting in real ways. I know sometimes stars may seem invincible or have the solutions to everything but they don’t. Rihanna is making this choice on her own. She doesn’t have to leave him or stay with him for OUR sakes. This is personal. If she leaves him because of public pressure all she’s gonna do is secretly want to go back to him. Let her work through this on her own. Sometimes role models make fucked up decisions and that is what makes them real people. Real people make fucked up decisions. Your role models are real. What you can do is take this as another example of decision making. I don’t think that just cuz she went back to CB that you’re going to want to go get beat and go back to the abuser. Because you’re my kid and I know you’re not a retard cuz I would have aborted you.

1. “Rihanna and Chris reportedly left Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party late Saturday night in a silver rental Lamborghini. The couple allegedly had a fight while driving through L.A.’s Hancock Park neighborhood which turned violent.”

2. Both cancelled their Grammy performances under the initial guise of “car accident”

3. According to the LAPD’s press release, Brown and an unidentified woman (believed to be Rihanna) got into an argument while in a vehicle driven by the singer in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles are 12:30 AM Sunday. The argument became physical when the two exited the vehicle. The disturbance was reported to 911 by a bystander. Police arrived on the scene to find the woman with visible injuries TMZ reports as “contusions and bite marks”; she identified Brown as her attacker. Brown fled the scene before police arrived.

4. An eyewitness told Radaronline.com that Rihanna and her vehicle, 20, had been seen at the hospital.

5. “Brown, 19, turned himself in at the LAPD’s Wilshire station around 6:30 p.m. and was booked on suspicion of making criminal threats, a charge that carries a maximum penalty of four years. The case will now be sent to the district attorney’s office and further charges could be filed. He was released from jail after posting $50,000 bail.”

6. Despite talks of a deadly weapon involved, there was none. Well, there was an umbrella supposedly in the car. Yes we get it. Irony.
