[Btw. Sorry for the hiatus. I am running out of places to eat.]
I’m torn.
Yes. in a ‘my mind is saying no, but my body is saying yes’ kind of way.
The burgers here are delicious. A 5 star place since I first started frequenting. Most recently, I decided to indulge in a stacked 1/3 pounder topped with gruyere, corn salsa, a side of guac and grilled onions. Mmmm. Bloody and hot. My little 1/3 piece of heaven. Fuck a knife and fork. I was champing it at a murderous rate.
Well, at least I wanted to.
I was slowly pacing myself for the chili fries and onion rings that we ordered. and inevitably didn’t receive. What a let down. Eating ‘just a burger’ just isn’t enough. Come on. We ordered chili fries AND a whole order of onion rings. You even joked about how hungry we were.
And how hungry we stayed.
I don’t understand why putting in an order that the CUSTOMER fills out is so difficult. All I’m asking you is to remember our sides and drinks which you wrote down but still managed to forget. Maybe if you had checked in midpoint during our meal or maybe came by as our food was served to make sure everything was ok, we’d have a chance to let you know you forgot to put in our order. But you didn’t.
I’m not saying our server wasn’t nice cuz he was. But being nice and friendly doesn’t mean you’re competent. Retards are nice.
I still enjoy food at the Counter but I might check out Marina Del Rey location to see if there is a service difference.
