Meh. Milk.

After browsing through a couple hundred reviews on Yelp, I realized that aside from our love for the Hills, me and Milk are never going to get along. Milk is predominately famous for their desserts, milkshakes and sweets — none of which I’m not a big fan of. Yea, I have no soul.

Wandered in here upon recommendation from Sean @ Studio DNA. Got the curried zucchini and eggplant soup + Shanghai Chicken Salad. Portions are huge and comes out quick. The soup was OK. A little bit too ‘creative’ for my taste. Not their fault though. The salad was pretty bad. Slow down on the cilantro :-/

With that being said, service is ridiculously great. I was meeting a friend and had to have them pack my food within five minutes of sitting down but they were totally cool with it and packed it along with the Herb Roasted Chicken Melt I got to go (which was good though).

Strangely enough, this place reminds me of Joan’s (which I hate) - slightly overpriced sandwiches ($9.75), plenty of ‘cute’ desserts to attract the vaginas and their pussywhipped boyfriends, sandwiches that don’t come with a side, processed chicken, etc.

Meh. Not a fan.
